Update

On this last Friday of October I sit here at the desk thinking about my family. Both Vern and Allie are sleeping. Allie taking her nap and Vern still not awake form taking his brother to the hospital last night. He didn't get home till 5 this morning. I love that he cares so much for everyone he knows. He's naturally a good friend, brother, and son. He works really hard to be the best dad he knows how. He takes all his good memories of being a kid and works hard to give Allie more then he could have ever got. I'm so proud of him.

Allie is just a perfect angel. She's 14 months and 5 days old. She wears 18-24 month clothes. she weighs 23 pounds and is 34 inches long!!! She is getting so big i can hardly believe it. She crawls every where. Not like you would think. She sits on her right leg and uses her left foot to scoot her around. She developed the nickname scooter. She walks around holding on to things. Shes yet to take off by herself. She talks and laughs all the time. even though most of her words i have know idea what they are i still know when she want something. Ive been trying to get her to day drink for she is always thirsty and drinks everything in site. just like her daddy. He big blue eyes have never been bluer and her white Blondie hair is getting longer everyday. Shes so beautiful and i cant believe she is all mine, to love and to have for the rest of my life and beyond.

I'm very thankful for my little family. I love them more then they know.

Kisses

Allie is now just starting to give Kisses willingly. You have to have her attention and pucker your lips and make the kissie sound. Then she will lean into you opened mouth and give you a kiss. She laughs at it and goes in for another one. We're still working on giving hugs but she's getting better then she had been.
Today i've been giving her Eskimo kisses too. She thinks that pretty funny as well.

1st Birthday Pics

Alexis is 1

Allie turned one two months ago. It was just amazing to see how far she has come. She crawls everywhere but not like a normal baby. She sits on her right foot and uses her left foot to pull her around. Its really cute and unique.

We had her party on a Saturday just before her Birthday at the Bountiful Park. A good amount of family and friends showed up. She received a lot of clothes from Her grandparents and Mia and David got her a really cute outfit and coat. She also got a bunch of toys!!! She plays with them all day long! Her cake was a butterfly that i had made. I was quite impressed with myself. She took a few bites and then she was done but we got her to play in it and that really pissed her off. Vern got some cake up her nose. She was done before any of us were.

I love seeing my baby grow and learn. She is the heart and soul of my life and with out her i could not survive.

Vern's New Job

Last December I gave Vern an ultimatum about his job. He had to choose our family of work. He chose us. He's been out of work for some time now. A few months ago he decided to start his own business and go from there. The Business is called Everyday Computers. He buys and sells new and used, updated computers for a low price. He also customizes the computers. He makes small repair on old desktop and laptops. He works really hard everyday and seams to be getting us by. He really likes what he's doing but with any job he still gets stressed out. These past few weeks have been hard with the moving and all. This week was his real week back to work. He's yet to put forth the effort of  getting a licence and advertising due to his small work space. Also we're nit sure what it would do to Allie's health insurance. She is currently on Medicaid and we don't want to chance loosing it until we figure out other options.

All in all things are going pretty well at this point. we hope to be doing great in about a year. We also hope to go into business with his dad. Only Hope and Faith are behind us!!!

Our New House

Oct 1st was a day of relief. We moved into our own house. We still live with family, Summer and Vern's dad. However Vern (Vern's dad) works out of Rock Springs Wy. 28 days on 4-10 days off. So we only get to see him every now and then. Summer is constantly gone and with Vern (husband) work schedule i pretty much have a house to myself.

Vern, Allie, and I are in the basement. The fourth bedroom was just too small for Summer. So we have our room and Allie's room plus a living room/office and a bathroom to our selves. The laundry room is also down here, we also use it as a work station/storage for Vern's work (that's a whole new blog). Upstairs is Summer and Dad's rooms along with a bathroom living room and the Kitchen. We have all the furniture in now, except for dad's bed. Now i just need to get more decor for the house so it doesn't look bare. Just a few wall decorations, some rugs and a new Bath set for the bath upstairs.

It's really given me a chance to become a different person, having my own home. I'm not so stressed out all the time and Vern isn't worried about what the others in the house think, like he was at my parents house and at his mom's. Being able to sit in silence while Allie sleeps is a dream come true. We're also a lot closer to all of our friends now. Hopefully those relationships will grow stronger now.
